Does your site qualify?

Four tests. Every site is judged on its own.

Size doesn't decide it. Smaller manufacturers can qualify too. Each site needs to pass all four.

1

On Companies House

Your business is registered on Companies House.

2

An eligible sector

One of the codes recorded for you on Companies House is an eligible manufacturing sector.

3

Eligible products

The site makes eligible products in Great Britain.

4

33 MWh a year

The site uses at least 33 MWh of grid electricity a year.

What it's worth£35 to £40 per MWh

The scheme takes three government policy costs off your electricity bill. The government puts the value at around £35 to £40 per MWh. Sites where half or more of the electricity goes on eligible manufacturing get the full discount. Between a quarter and a half gets half.

When it landsFrom April 2027

Your supplier takes it off your bills from April 2027 (the Capacity Market part from October 2027), with a one-off back payment covering 2026 to 2027. It lasts up to five years, as long as the site keeps qualifying.

How we get it for you

You run the site. We'll do the claim.

Most of the time goes on finding paperwork, not filling in the form. That's the bit we take off your hands.

Mapped.

We check you qualify

We go through every site against the four tests, and work out how much of each site's electricity goes on eligible manufacturing.

Managed.

We make the claim

We gather six months of bills and every meter number, build the evidence, and submit the application with your authority.

Maintained.

You keep the discount

We handle the yearly declarations and the year two review, check the discount shows on your bills, and look after your energy contracts.

And your discount, claimed.

Here's how it works

One partner for every line.

We do all of the work on your claim when you place your gas and electricity with us. There's no fee to pay. The supplier you choose pays us a commission, included in your rates, and we show you the full amount, per unit and in pounds over the contract, before you agree anything.

And while we're looking after your energy, we can look after the rest too.
